Travel is an inward journey. Through the mindfulness and self-compassion techniques, you can learn to respond rather than react. It is not saying we have no fear or to eradicate fear but having the inner resources to leverage challenges as spiritual experiences to grow and learn.

You may have goals such as quitting old bad habits and so start new healthy ones or nurturing your curiosity. The why’s are numerous.
The Japanese have a term “MA” meaning “Place, Space, Void”. Leaving behind friends and family, the “known” and the routine can provide us with much needed “space”. We may find “place” by embracing new cultures, friends, food and experiences. Peace can be found in the “void”, a time for mindfulness and at perhaps solitude.
