I took a jaunt to North East Bali to a lazy quiet Puri Wirata Dive Resort just outside of the town of Ahmed.  This really was for me a quiet, a relaxing, laid back resort. A taste of Bali like it once was and still is in Amed today. They had excellent wi-fi, so I could work in the morning and chill by the pool in the afternoon.

About the resort

Enjoy the sunrise from your balcony in the morning. See the fishermen take off and bring back their catch. Watch the waves rolling in as you read a book in silence. Enjoy a sky full of stars on a bright Amed night.  One of the things I liked is that all rooms have sea view. The Rooms and Villas are spread out in a beautiful tropical garden on a slope between the mountain and the sea.

Traditional massage and manicures are provided at the resort’s spa. Bali Reef Divers water sports centre organises diving and snorkelling trips to the famous dive spots in Amed.

The on-site restaurant serves a daily breakfast, as well as local and Western dishes

For the dive enthusiasts, the resort has an on-site PADI-certified dive centre with multi-lingual instructors. Overlooking the ocean, this resort on Amed Beach also provides free Wi-Fi and a restaurant.
